Gourmet food purveyors, Relish, set their stand – in the form of a restored 1968 globetrotter airstream trailer – at a range of street, event and festival locations, adding a touch of class to commercial catering. Great recipes and fresh ingredients are synonymous with the Relish brand credentials, and fancy brunches, hot sandwiches and luxury burgers are their choice offerings.
To support the marketing of Relish, the team needed help building a website and we were pleased to get involved. Relish are a talented bunch and when the chef hat comes off they are also involved in the digital arena. We were needed for our skills and experience in website development, the design was all their own.
We built the website structure using WordPress software, which is a widely supported Open Source technology. The benefits of using WordPress are many; because it is OS it is a cost effective and rigid framework, familiar across the web development industry, which means the site is future-proofed for any professional to work on it.
The ‘back end’ system is also very simple to use, which means any updates to content can be made quickly and easily by Relish themselves without any ongoing maintenance costs.
Our work on the site has also included full integration of the Relish Twitter feed, and there are future plans to include integration with Facebook as well.
